So, after months of not animating anything by hand, I'm back at the helm. I've entered myself in this months 11 second club animation contest. The winner gets a critique from a working professional. This is my first pass at nailing down the key drawings.

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!
After months of battling a corrupted hard drive, replacing it in addition to my video card, acquiring a new monitor because the old one wasn't compatible with the new video card, removing info from the old corrupted drive, tracking down and reloading my software, I'm finally back. But I didn't waist me digital down time. I've been drawing my ass off, working on several difference projects. Fruits of that labor will be posted throughtout the next couple of weeks.
This is some concept art I did for an Illustration for this art show.

Thumbnails
Was messing around with some layout options for the project I mentioned in the previous post. It will eventually be animated but the initial idea created an image in my head. The image has been tormenting and it's like I can't seem to draw it fast enough. So I thought I'd share with you the process of me, exercising this demon. Basic premise of the image, if you can't tell, is a bus flying down the street of a residential neighborhood. Suggestions are always welcome.

Kicking things off
This is my first blog post, YAYYYY!!!!!!! Alright, enough of that. A lot of my work lately has been motivated by two factors. One being that my design and coloring need some help. So I've been checking out a lot of different artists, picking up things here and there. The other motivating factor behind my stuff has been the everyday things I come across. So easy to get caught up in the fast paced city life that you forget to stop and look around you. Be surprised at some of the things you see.
1st image - Pretty self explanatory. If you've been on the subway here for more than 10 mins, this has happened to you.
2nd image - This little girl was explaining her day to her dad. I'm sure he didn't understand much of what she was saying but he knew it was important to listen anyways.
